Differentiated Learning is an important indicator of early childhood programme quality. It requires planning, commitment, and competencies to understand individual differences and design activities to promote growth across developmental domains for ALL children. Differentiated learning also needs to complement the early childhood curriculum approaches, recommended practices, as well as accommodate the unique features of Singapore early childhood landscape. Participants will learn ways to differentiate content, process, product, and learning environment suitable for early childhood settings. Real classroom examples, scenarios, and case studies will also be shared in this course. By the end of the course, participants will acquire knowledge and skills to implement Differentiated Learning to promote learning outcomes for children with diverse learning needs. |
