Course synopsis

Human beings can volitionally choose to think, feel, speak, and act in positive manners, unlike robots who are not endowed with choice. This course presents the realities of life outcomes of filling the brain and mind with positive/negative words, thoughts, feelings, speech, and actions. It aims to empower participants to take positive actions to deal with negative thoughts, challenging people, and stressful situations by injecting positivity into real life practices.

Objectives:

  1.  To understand the relations between the brain and its software programming
  2. To identify positivity and negativity in thinking, feelings, choices, speech/words and actions
  3. To be aware of the positive choices in life events and people
  4. To practice making positive choices

Outline:

The course will cover the following:

1.         Aspects of Neuropsychology

2.         Aspects of Positive Psychology

3.         Aspects of Will Psychology

4.         Knowledge-Volition-Action framework

Assessments:

Participants will participate in learning activities on thinking, feeling, speaking and acting positively amidst challenges in life.
