Course synopsis |
Education today aims to prepare students to deal intelligently and innovatively in an increasingly complex and dynamic world. Real world situations often require critical thinking that cuts across various domains of knowledge, thought, and practice. This course introduces participants to key concepts and strategies in critical thinking that are relevant to teaching and learning. Participants will acquire an appreciation of how these critical thinking skills can be used to facilitate multi- and inter-disciplinary learning in their teaching. They will also explore and share how they can promote critical thinking in schools. |
