Course synopsis |
This course aims to support the primary school Library Co-ordinator, Head of English, or any teacher who is interested in building the school’s reading culture through the school library. The course will focus on three key areas:

Objective |
The objectives of the course are to introduce participants to:
1) basic principles for developing and maintaining the school library; 2) key ideas for planning and executing exciting library programmes that encourage and support reading; 3) a sustainable framework for running a school-wide reading programme. Closing Date of Application: 15 October 2020 The course fee for MOE participants will be borne by MOE/AST. Priority of course placement is to MOE participants. If there are vacancies, then we can accept non-MOE participants. |

Glam it up!: Planning and executing exciting library events
Keep things moving: Planning and delivering practical reading programmes and routines
