|
Course synopsis |
Workshops on Differentiated Instruction have typically focused on varying Content, Product, Process to tailor to individual needs. This workshop takes another approach, starting with understanding differentiated student outcomes defined by an evidence-based taxonomy, Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes (SOLO). The course will show examples of how teachers currently use SOLO to design tiered lessons and assessments. Lastly, the workshop will also show how SOLO can also be linked to other Assessment for Learning areas like feedback and rubrics. This course is targeted at getting participants to be proficient in designing such lessons and assessments through many examples to illustrate course content. |
