Course synopsis |
This course offers an introduction to mental health tools that gather information about emotional and psychological state presented by clients. It also offers an application of a framework for the conceptualization of mental health concerns and how the framework informs the treatment process. |

The course would involve (a) case-based discussions and applications to illustrate what is involved in the process of mental health assessment, and (b) case conceptualization to develop skills on 'how to think' and 'act' in the process to inform the treatment formulation.
