Course synopsis |
|
This online course, delivered as 2 parts, A & B, introduces the key cognitive and affective needs of high ability learners. It sets out to provide answers to the following questions: 1) Who are high ability learners? 2) What are they like as learners? 3) How do they behave in the regular Singapore classroom? Participants will hear from high ability students currently studying in Singapore classrooms and from teachers who work with these learners. Through the activities in this course, participants will also clarify commonly held beliefs about HALs and gain ideas about how best to engage HALs during lessons. |
