Through the interactive and experiential sessions in this 3-day workshop that is embedded within the student KB Design Studio, teachers will take on various roles (as researcher, as teacher, as learner) to:

1. Understand Knowledge Building principles and how the principles can be used to design curriculum, classroom environment, and to reason out pedagogical moves and decisions that enable a higher level of student agency,


2. Observe and understand how students engage in and demonstrate various 21stCC processes, e.g. critical thinking, creative thinking in a knowledge building environment,


3. Learnand practice knowledge building strategies such as KB talk, KB meta-talk,


4. Learnabout assessment for learning using knowledge building technology and learning analytics, and


5. Experience knowledge building environment integrated with Generative AI.
