Course synopsis |
This course addresses primary science demonstrations in physical science topics and their pedagogy. The topics covered include Energy conversion, Interaction of forces, Cycles in matter and water, Electrical systems, and Energy forms and uses in the 2023 primary science syllabus. The course involves interesting hands-on activities using various science materials to demonstrate key concepts for primary students. Some demonstrations will investigate real-life examples and may extend slightly beyond the syllabus as informal science learning. Participants will also be given opportunities to discuss how to incorporate these demonstrations into primary science classrooms. |
